Zoe The Earless Kitten Book Signing!
Zoe The Earless Kitten is a sweet story about a kitten who was badly abused, and thrown in a dumpster to die. You will not only feel her pain, but you will also cheer for her happiness. The story shows Zoe hurt, getting well, and getting adopted. The author hopes the story will bring some awareness to animal cruelty, and pet adoption. Stop by The Cattery on Saturday, September 27th from 12 - 2pm to pick up a signed copy and meet the authors! The book is $14.95. You can visit their webiste at http://www.zoetheearlesscat.com

Fine Wine and Felines - Wine Tasting Event
Mark your calendar! The first Tuesday of every month, starting September 2nd, The Cattery will be hosting a wine and cheese tasting! 5:30-7:30pm
Please join us for some good cheese, good wine and good laughs while supporting the cats and kittens of The Cattery!
While doing so, hang out with other cat lovers, browse our boutique, and/or sit with the cats! Guest will enjoy 10% off all boutique items!
A $20 per person donation is requested!

On Saturday, September 20th, Macy’s celebrates a national day of support for local non-profit organizations in our community!
For a $5 donation to The Cattery, you will receive a coupon for 10-20%* off your purchases on September 20th! What’s better than supporting a great cause and getting a little something for yourself?! Coupons can be purchased during normal business hours, Thursday - Sunday, 12-5pm.

2 Fur 1 Special continued into August, with a twist!
We have decided to continue our “2 Fur 1” special throughout August! Bring home 2 wonderful cats or kittens for the adoption fee of 1! The difference this month, is single adoptions will be $60 instead of the full adoption fee of $100!
That still includes all of the great things we do for our cats and kittens! They have each tested negative for Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia, been spayed or neutered, are current on age appropriate vaccines, are free of internal and external parasites, have a microchip which we register to you, come with a certificate for a free exam and 14 day health guarantee from Oso Creek Animal Hospital, and come with a starter bag of food! You can’t beat that deal! Below is what it would cost you if you picked up a ‘free’ cat or kitten and had these things done yourself. These are the lowest costs to our knowlege in the city. Prices vary by Veterinarian and the spay/neuter prices are for the low cost clinics in town.
Spay $35 Neuter $20
Leukemia/FIV test $30
Rabies Vaccine $12
Distemper/Leukemia combo vaccine $35 (kittens require more than 1 vaccine, so additional costs will occur)
Microchip and Registration $30
Science Diet Cat/Kitten food $9.99

Free exam and health guarantee - varies by cat
You can’t argue with math! At the very least, a female cat or kitten will cost you $172, while a male will cost $157.

Flea Market August 9th from 8am - 1pm
The Cattery will be hosting our First Annual Flea Market this Saturday (8/9) from 8am - 1pm in our back yard. For those of you that don’t know, we are located at 4232 S. Padre Island Dr, between Everhart and Weber. We are down from Ashley Furniture, right after Bobbaruba’s and right before Hertz.
There will be purr-fect treasures for everyone! Shop under tents for arts and crafts, bed and bath, electronics, furniture, home decor, jewelry, kitchen, lawn and garden, luggage, books, music, movies, office supplies, personal accessories, pet articles, toys and games, baby items, sporting goods, tools and collectibles, lots of Chrismas items, medical supplies and antiques!

For the remainder of July, The Cattery is having a 2 ‘fur’ 1 special! This means that you can adopt any two cats or kittens for the adoption fee of one! Please consider bringing two wonderful pets into your home this month!
