Youth Volunteers (12-17)
Youths between the ages of 12 and 17 can volunteer at The Cattery! The Cattery hopes that our city’s minors will learn the values of philanthropy and joys of helping people and animals at an early age and carry it into adulthood.
The Youth and a Parent/Guardian must attend an orientation together (held the second Saturday of each month starting at 10:30am) and sign some additional paperwork before the Youth can sign up.
Hours available for volunteering at the shelter are as follows: Monday and Tuesday, 9-12pm Wednesday and Thursday, 9-12pm and 3-5pm and Friday - Sunday 9am-5pm. Youth Volunteers are limited to 3 hours per day.
We are also at Petsmart from 11am-5pm Saturday and Sunday.
