3rd Annual Matching Fund Drive!
Each year The Cattery asks our most dedicated supporters to contribute towards a pool of matching funds for our annual matching fund drive! This year, with the help of Mel & Annette Klein and several anonymous donors, we have $4000 in matching funds!
Between now and November 15th, every dollar you donate will be matched up to $4000!! Your $25 donation becomes $50, your $100 donation becomes $200 and so on! The cats and kittens of the shelter benefit twice as much by your donation during these 2 weeks!
You can mail your donation to The Cattery, PO Box 8575, Corpus Christi, TX, 78468. Any donation we receive that is post marked by 11/15/11, will count towards the matching fund drive. You can also HERE to make your donation by credit card or PayPal.
What we do
The Cattery’s mission is to provide a safe, cage-free haven for abused, abandoned, and homeless cats until they can be placed into loving homes. To date, 1082 cats and kittens have been adopted! All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered before they leave the shelter to guarantee they will not be contributing to the pet overpopulation problem. They are also treated for internal and external parasites, vaccinated, tested for Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia, and treated for any illnesses. Your donations and support help us continue with our mission!
Who does your donation help?
Goldie was abandoned out in the country. Luckily a good Samaritan found her - she literally had her babies the day after she arrived at the shelter. Can you imagine having 7 little babies in an unfamiliar environment, where you don’t know where to located food and water? Where you don’t know if it’s even safe to leave the babies to look for food and water? Your donations helped us save Goldie and her babies. They are happy and healthy and won’t be producing any more kitties that could end up in similar situations.
